As first announced last week, ASAP Rocky has released the video for his new track “Purple Kisses“. The track is taken from the forthcoming A$AP Mob mixtape, Lord$ Never Worry, due out later this month, August 28. Directed by ASAP Rocky and Luke Monaghan, the video follows Rocky in an all-out purple haze of his usual sex, money, drugs; all around are: cocaine, Rolls-Royce, naked models, codeine, weed, and alcohol; pretty standard fashion for the young Harlem rapper.
Despite the now regular attire, many fans have seemed to take offense at the production, insisting the video seems more like a pornographic and druggy video rather than a hip hop one. While some scenes may be bit too racy for children, however; if past ASAP Rocky videos were to serve as any indicator, listeners should by now be accustomed to his style
Look forward to Rocky’s debut solo album LongLiveA$AP, due out two weeks after this mixtape, September 11.
