Beautiful, classy tribute to the recently passed Adam “MCA” Yauch. During their recent May 4 concert at the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl, Coldplay covered the famous Beastie Boys‘ 1996 single “(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!))”. Turned acoustic harmony, slowed to a somber, piano-laden rendition. Perfect choice considering it was among their most well-known releases, and later named on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame‘s “500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll”. R.I.P MCA.
