Day One is back with his all new EP, Solar/Lunar Orbit. The release consists of two different variations of the same tune. Solar being the d&b version and Lunar the dubstep. Solar with that smooth liquid d&b feel to it- a really nice pump, lots of energy in this. A more upbeat base as would one expect with drum and bass. Lunar is a slower version, instead with those dubstep vibes, carrying that heavy bass. It does not have the same fluidity to it, but flows quite nicely regardless. Both works are certainly excellent pieces. If one was to be declared winner, however, Lunar take the cake. The liquid state to the tune has no parallel. The track runs harder than its dubstep equivalent. You can download the EP from his facebook. If you are into d&b, this release is a must have, especially considering it is free. Enjoy.
