Disturbing Noise Records just released a compilation that will surely please the lovers of pure UK bass. It features some of the best future garage artists currently on Soundcloud, including the likes FREnchfire, Trinkkets, Olaf and Kempa.
The first track: ”Trellick Tower“ by Morsø, beautifully sets the tone of Disturbing Noise’s first compilation: the atmosphere is dark, somber, almost… disturbing with the resonating synth and the echos of voices and the mechanical rhythm. All of a sudden, the voices become more audible. A male and a female voice start a beautiful and soulful lament.
The somber ambiances follow one another, with the beautiful chopped vocals of HDMF, FREnchfire’s characteristic atmosphere, the tight percussion work of Minus combined with an airy piano, Trinkkets’ bouncy wobble bass, and the dark futuristic atmosphere of GroundHero.
For a first compilation, Disturbing Noise has done a nice job with a great selection of artists and tracks. Each piece is deeper than the previous one, and the compilation is coherent and cohesive. What is more, you can download it for free on Disturbing Noise’s Facebook Page.
