Playlist: EDM Gems of the Week

I am The White Rabbit and I, like you, am totally addicted to bass. We live in a wonderful time to have this addiction. Humans now have the ability to feed this habit with fresh music at any time they wish. The sky is the limit for EDM and thats just the way it makes you feel when dancing the night away to the songs you downloaded that morning. I’m here to spread the love with all of you. Check out the wiki article attached to each song so you can impress someone if you ever hear one of these when you’re out on the town ;)

To start, a light remix of the Enya‘s famous 1988 Orinoco Flow by PrototypeRaptor.

And now for something with a little more weight. Miles Dyson‘s remix of Let The Beat Drop by Ibiza local Hypster.

Next up is Pierce Fulton‘s private edit of the Gorillaz‘ 1997 track Clint Eastwood.

FACT: Moombahton is awesome and now synonymous with the name Dillon Francis.
FACT: Madeon‘s Finale was one of the most anticipated tracks of the summer.
FACT: This remix is the Cats Pajamas.

Aluna Francis‘ twitchy vocals in the Bondax remix of AlunaGeorge‘s You Know You Like It make the hairs on my arm stand up. I know I like it. Do you?

Summer vacation is coming to a close and it’s only right to get your party on before September. I recommend adding these tracks to your library in order to achieve maximum awesome this weekend! Remember to dance responsibly!

Speaking of September…

For dessert I bring you back to 1998 and 2002 to look at two videos for the same song. In 1998 Puretone‘s Totally Addicted To Bass reached #15 in the Australian charts in 1998 while it reached #2 in the UK four years later in 2002. I personally really like the 2002 version, Mad Max was an awesome movie. Too bad their sunglasses suck.

That’s all folks! ‘Till next time!
