Ellie Guoldings has an absolutely captivating voice. There is no denying that. Not enough can be said about her talent. Her recent single “Lights” shot to the top of both the US and UK billboard charts, going on to sell one-million copies and later certified platinum. Now she is back with an all new cover of r&b sensation The Weeknd‘s older hits, “High For This“. A magnificent rework, her voice has the power to improve even the most solid of tracks. With several changes in melody, a different depth, crisper clarity, producer Xaphoon Jones definitely helped this cover stand its ground. The ladies will certainly prefer the original, however, this still makes for some of the best cover work we have heard as of late.
