Perseus is well known for his 80′s pop dance vs Nu-disco style. In characteristic form, his remix of Jeremy Glenn‘s “New Life” is no exception. It’s rather old, about a year to be fairly exact, but non the less a must hear. It is my pleasure to show you this remarkable work of art done by the artist at hand.
A new life, a start at something different. May it be love or some other emotion that occupies your consciousness. The moment you press play, you get a feeling of nostalgia. Even if you’re young, emotions will sweep over you like the joys of a summercrush.
The track starts off with a smooth synth, with just the right delay. Followed by a sampled “Ah”, coupled with other various instruments and sampling, your whole body will shiver in anticipation. What you’re waiting for is that oldschool bassline, which fades in like a lone wave in the ocean and carries you throughout the rest of the song. With the perfect combination of skilled mixing and mastering, “New Life” is like a ripple in the water, making your existence complete for six and a half minutes.
