“June” is the latest release coming out of the creative mind of Detz. A lively, season inspired tune, with a smooth textured finish, and side of beautifully stationed vocal cuts and background chants. Delightfully warm and animated with a summer air about it.

Since the beginning of 2012, Detz has been releasing a song per month for what he has referred to as the “seasons collection”. With the tracks reflecting the weather and mood of that month. So far the entire ‘seasons’ collection is free to download. The genres alternate in the the collection, bits of garage, some jazzy, others dark ambient, and some dub/garage mixtures. Love the idea of releasing music for the seasons, likely to culminate in an incredibly juicy EP with the entire year stuffed in.

Detz has been featured on Square Harmony‘s “The Deep Lane” compilation (same label that brought us the likes of Ghostek, Stiver, Ghost Ark) and is also part of the Prospekt Records crew. His work carries an impassioned feel, no matter the song, offering some of the best bass and garage vibes around. Very awe-inspiring.
