Today, let yourself be submerged by a wave of chill-hop with young UK producer Kadugodi. Each and everyone of his pieces are an ode to abstraction and mind peace. But what else could we expect from an artist whose stage name comes from a locality in Bengalore and translates “temple in a forest”?!
“Tengi” is one very fine example of Kadugodi’s skill in creating beautifully chill atmospheres. The slow rhythm of the regular beat paired with the synth set the smooth ambiance until the charming head melody comes in. An ethereal beauty.
Featuring smooth vocals from “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Greene, “Everybody Says” is a brilliant track testifying to the young producer’s skills and taste. The tremendous percussion work creates a jerky beat that gives more presence to the airy atmosphere. The playful stops and breaks produce changes in intensity and keep us engrossed in the rhythm and the music. A perfect construction for an exquisite track.
Kadugodi just started working on an EP that should be released in a few months. Watch out for it.
