Kastle – Already Know

With the absolutely beautiful tracks: “Stay Forever” and “Uh Oh”, Kastle set our expectations unreasonably high. So much so, that some had been left questioning his recent work.

Kastle’s new track Already Know really brings it back though; meeting those previously held, recently unmet expectations, As usual, he chose smooth vocals and paired them up with tremendously energetic drums, creating the perfect contrast- and this time, the transitions between the rhythmic parts and the smoothly sexy moments are clean and perfectly managed. The song literally flows; soulful and beautiful. The vocals repeat themselves in a vicious cycle, while the instrumental progresses, changes and varies.

If “Stay Forever” is the great highlight of Kastle’s work, he is indubitably very talented and he still has a far more in store. Pick this one up off Kastle & iO’s new “Infinite City” EP, out on Symbols Recordings.
