Kill The Noise (real name Jake Stanczak) was signed to Skrillex‘s OWSLA label just last year. Shortly after, he released his “Kill Kill Kill” EP. Since then, it has become the second most sold release from the label. In preparation for his new six-song EP on the way, Kill The Noise has taken it upon himself to build the hype with an all-new music video.
Jake gave director Mike Diva the opportunity to create some incredibly unique for Kill The Noise‘s very first track. Mike, as a video game fanatic, choose to incorporate his passion for his vision for the film. After a single viewing, its pretty clear there was no better choice of director; an incredibly vivid imagination, the piece is among the most imaginative and original music videos we’ve seen in some time. Love the 80′s futuristic vibes.
The video takes place in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled world where a group of survivors sole mission is to destroy the “overlord” controlling the undead. Those survivors use musical weapons to fight back. Boombox bazucas, and keyboard machine guns take aim at the lifeless bodies. The video has a wonderful art style; every killing blow has awesome particle effects. I personally find this video to be the coolest I’ve seen so far this year. Then again, the truth is, I’m just a sucker for zombies.
