Mojo – Superman EP

For 20 year old Jordan Booth, AKA Mojo, the past year has been the most important of his career. After signing to the Buygore imprint and releasing his impressive 2-track debut for the label ‘Carnival/Toybox‘ in late September of 2011, 2012 has seen him explode onto the EDM scene.

After featuring on compilations such as Psybaba 2012 with his track Departures and Buygore’s own ‘Borgore’s Misadventures In Dubstep’ with his hit dubstep track Carnival, Mojo teamed up with Moxix to create the sensational Shaolin Funk, which itself garnered remixes from the likes of Addergebroed, Quartus Saul & Maksim and even rising star xKore. N0w, he has returned with his latest effort and first 4-track release, ‘Superman‘.

‘Superman’ marks Mojo’s real initiation into the big names in dubstep; now a key member of the Buygore family and household name to fans of the genre across the world, he has proven himself worthy of such status with his unique, addictive style and sounds that have become instantly recogniseable to just such fans, and rallied praise from other dubstep icons such as Funtcase, Cookie Monsta and Plastician. ‘Superman’ does not disappoint, with those unique sounds from Mojo’s previous releases being heard in full force across the 4 tracks, ranging from the ultra grimey punching wobbles of Warmin’ Up to the fat, smooth styling of the E.P.’s massive title tune. This release is sure to propel Mojo to global recognition, with it’s quartet of components sure to feature heavily on playlists in the UK, US and beyond.
