Odd Future’s End of Summer Takeover

Odd Future is at it again. The hip-hop collective are already in the middle of a 2 week tour in Europe, but they have already planned a second North American tour that spans from Sept. 1st - 30th. Today Tyler, The Creator announced more information on the already hyped-about Los Angeles show for the final day of the tour through a poster he released on his Twitter account.

As you can see from the poster above, this is not just an ordinary show – it is a carnival. Literally. The line-up includes OFWGKTA-affiliated acts such as the hardcore-punk band Trash Talk and the trip-hop/electronica DJ duo The Internet. Complete with rides, games, food, free shit, and other “special guests” – which may include rappers such as Action Bronson, SpaceGhostPurrp, or Toronto jazz-trio BadBadNotGood - this isn’t a carnival that you would want to miss.

This show marks the end of their 2-month Camp Flag Gnaw tour, but it also marks the beginning of a solid line-up of albums being released. These releases include OF subgroup MellowHype’s album ‘Numbers’ on Oct. 2 and labelmate Trash Talk’s first album ‘119’ on October 9th. Aside from that, the prodigal Earl Sweatshirt has been rumored to be wrapping up his first album since returning from Samoa earlier this year.

L to R: MellowHype (Left Brain and Hodgy Beats), Half of Trash Talk (Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson)

Ticket’s for the tour finale are $50 each or, if your wallet can handle it, you can get a $250 VIP package which also includes a pit ticket, exclusive clothing and accessories, and a chance to hang out with Odd Future for an hour and eat free tacos. Stay posted on the links below the jump for the latest information.

See: Tacos.
