Scharlach – Make Me Feel

Make Me Feel” is a massive track that german producer Scharlach offered us yesterday, and it delivers right from the start. Indeed he chose and sampled the powerful voice of Whitney Houston (on “So Emotional“) as an intro. Tricky choice then, because the instrumental had to be strong enough to keep up with the force of the late diva’s voice without interfering.

But the challenge was met since right after the intro, Scharlach imposes his style with a mini wooble bass solo before creating his sound around it. We end up with a groovy garage track in which vocals and intrumental find their place and with a house flavor that is really interesting. We may regret a lack of complexity and minimalism of the beat at first, but fortunately, the track becomes more intricate towards the end.
