What a perfect way to start the day off, waking up to a new J:Kenzo vibe is always reason enough to be happy. Especially when it’s such a massive remix of an original that’s been turning heads since it first landed. A perfect balance is achieved between the fervent vocals and a dark, minimal atmosphere; with intense bass-full growls and trance inducing, echoing percussion. The tune is a fine blend of styles, and if you’re a frequent listener of Kenzo’s work, you will have noticed that this edit has got his credentials written all over it.
Been seeing a lot of movement from J:Kenzo as well as Truth since early 2012, with the producers releasing collabos, remixes, and originals on a frequent basis, all while in the process carving out a fine future for the real scene. When asked what’s some good dubstep, it is more than appropriate to answer in short, “whatever J:Kenzo and Truth are putting out”. If either are ever playing a show in your area, I suggest investing in a pair of tickets. You’ll be glad you did. Enjoy the tune and have a great Monday.
