Sublvl will be introducing a new regular segment that will cover some of our favorite overlooked tunes of the past week. With the music scene growing at its current pace, one cannot really even begin to count the number of tracks that go unnoticed. This segment is just for those underexposed tracks that we did not cover, but wanted to share with you; this features everything we think deserves a listen.
This week, The Fat Rat brings us an amazing new mashup, using one of the darker tracks of Zedd’s, and custom samples of the GLaDOS character from portal. With GLaDOS on the breaks, this all comes together superbly well. Overall, an excellent combination.
Kdrew has dropped his first progressive house anthem. His uplifting style really makes this a definite club banger.
Christopher Crawford continues the dancing mood with his new hit “Helios“. Loving the vibe. The constant flow of electricity is breathtaking.
Coming from Krewella‘s first EP “Play Hard” is a track that differs from their usual style. Most of the EP is characteristically dubstep, but “Alive” changes the pace with an electro-house banger. Undoubtedly one of the best experiments so far from Krewella.
Culture Code bring us his massive remix of Morgan Page. With its smooth style, complimented with Lissie’s excellent vocals, it remains mellow, yet heavy.
Sizzlebird has created one of the most peaceful, tranquil tracks we have heard in a while. Just as the name would suggest, it will put you into a complete state of relaxation.
Absolutely chill vibe from River Styx. They remixed the fundamentals of Flux Pavilions 2010 hit “Cracks”, creating an abstract flow that stands far away from the original.
With Tuesday marking the first day of summer, let the relaxation begin, let the music flow, let all stresses fade away, and the fun begin. Have a great week and hope to see you all next time.
